Hope that gives you some ideas.

With the wages I think what you do is add them together and divide by 6 to get an average. But one of the experts will be along soon to give you some goo advice.

housekeeping is for 2 adults and a 1 year old and petrol costs is so low cause we have really cut down on travel as we cant afford to spend more a month
  • sorry i have another question i have worked out my average monthly take home as £411.59 and our monthly benefits as £459.51 (housing benefit, tax credits + child benefit) my husbands acctuall takehome is £821.25
    we have outgoings of £1632

    Hi hdth,

Maybe I'm being dim or missing something but I make your household income including benefits £1692.35, which if your outgoings are £1632 leaves you a surplus of £60.35.

Sorry if i'm being dim (it won't be the first time)!!!

  • Hi

I can see what you mean about the forms! I have had to fill in zillions of forms all my life - yet find these ones ambiguous. It would be great if the notes to help really did, I am stumped on quite a few of mine.

I am going to phone the Insolvency helpline with a list of questions and do whatever they say....I am sure they must get lots of calls like it.

Only one day to go until your hearing. I really hope it all goes well for you and is the start of a much happier future.

  • cg77 thanks for that you are right, yesterday was a long day and i was tired hehe, prob not a good idea to be filling the forms in at 10 o clock on a sunday night

so now thats all clear and it shows we have a surplus of £60 should i put my husbands whole income on the forms?

From what I gathered you put the name of who you borowed the money from and then in the adress you put who currently ownes the debt.

I know what you mean about the forms though I have really struggled to work our what was meant by some sections. Good luck and I hope it all goes well for you.
