I am looking on this site http://www.ukflooringdirect.co.uk/Clearance_%252526_Sale_Items/Solid_Wood_Flooring_Sale.htm?osCsid=dg6oj42f1qbmn6s3oce0jctq63 since there is no longer a floors2go near me, or any pics on their site...
Can anyone say which is better, laquered or brushed & oiled?

I recently bought from them, & their customer service is great. Was couriered a different door/floor divider FOC as I'd ordered the wrong one.
We went for laquered, as the oiled need re-oiling on a regular basis, and we couldn't be bothered

Ah thanks I never saw that! Their wood looks lovely, I am a teeny bit wary of buying something that I haven't seen in real life but for those prices I may just take a chance. If you don't mind me asking, which one did you go for?0

I knew that link was somewhere there as I'd searched for it when we ordered.
We got this one, after getting samples of both that and the 18mm thick stuff. The samples are refundable when you place an order. The flooring was bl**dy heavy, and comes 4 planks per box (the same size as boxes of laminate from diy stores contains 12ish planks)0
