Zurich problems

Father in law has car written off due to floods. Getting nowhere with asian call centre.

He is entitled to a courtesy car but is presently carless. Any advice how to get through to someone who understands english would be appreciated.

Thanks

They only give you a courtesy car for 5 days following a write off.

Courtesy cars are normally given when you will get your car back. When its a write off, you either dont get a car or as Quentin says, you get it for a limited period (depending on provider, which is 5 days here).

  • Thanks.

Car was in three foot of water but has not been officially written off. May take a while before assessor sees the car.

Car is a total loss, no one would repair it, I cant believe they have taken this long, you will have to read the policy to see what the provisions for c/car are. I would be looking for a new car
  • Zurich are rubbish with courtesy cars, after a no fault claim they gave me one for 3 days. Then came a massive increase in premium, I left.
