Father in law has car written off due to floods. Getting nowhere with asian call centre.
He is entitled to a courtesy car but is presently carless. Any advice how to get through to someone who understands english would be appreciated.
Thanks

They only give you a courtesy car for 5 days following a write off.0

Courtesy cars are normally given when you will get your car back. When its a write off, you either dont get a car or as Quentin says, you get it for a limited period (depending on provider, which is 5 days here).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Thanks.
Car was in three foot of water but has not been officially written off. May take a while before assessor sees the car.0 -
Car is a total loss, no one would repair it, I cant believe they have taken this long, you will have to read the policy to see what the provisions for c/car are. I would be looking for a new car0

Zurich are rubbish with courtesy cars, after a no fault claim they gave me one for 3 days. Then came a massive increase in premium, I left.0
