    Afternoon everyone.

I slept till 11am which is very unlike me. Then realised I didnt feel well. Feels like I have a cold starting so have taken some echinacea. Im night shift then on holiday so hope its short lived. So far Ive:

    Got shopping.
    Hoovered through downstairs.
    Dusted LR.
    1 WM load done.
    Cleaned bathroom.

    Valli Hows the hangover?

Kaz That is crazy expecting your DS to wear a suit. I also think it should just be the school uniform.

TAG Congrats on the weight loss. I start with good intentions on the Monday then dont keep to it.

Dusty Have a lovely weekend and enjoy your champagne.

rach Have a lovely time at the opera and enjoy your champagne too.

Tiamai_d Thats awful that DS has been forgot about and that he now has to wear a splint.

poohbear59 Glad you enjoyed your holiday.

Going to have something to eat now then decide what next task is.

. DS2 has a flamin great big plastic splint to wear at night time, and next month he gets one to wear during the day too! All because he got 'forgotten about' by the OT department and now his fingers are all messed up.
    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
    Hugs for DS2

Sky was getting darker and darker so decided to bring washing in - even if it meant using TD.
15 mins later looked at window - it is chucking down!

Thanks everyone for the hugs. It's just hard, we thought he was doing so well and then soemthing else happens. And the hand splint is so obvious... anyway, brave face so he doesn't get upset about it eh?

Sat and did my tesco order then realised that I can't pay for it as I left my bag at my Mum and Dad's and thye wont be home till later, all my cards are in there.... Maybe I can phone hubby and get a copy of his card details.... And I didn't store them either, and Amazon ands paypal only give you the last 4 digits.... pft!

    Wiped kitchen surfaces - again.
Cleared out the fridge. Just needs wiping now.
    Wiped out DD lunchbox

That's it I think. How'd you do pooh?

    Hi everyone

embb – I know what you mean, but he’s in 6th form so to put him back in uniform would be demoting him! But I do think its expecting a lot of the. I too have blinds but no curtains and I’ve had the material to make them about 5 years, as its 5 years waiting for its 2nd coat of paint.
Tag well done on the weight loss
Rach – thanks. I’m doped up on flu tabs at the moment , DS had it last week and it only lasted a couple of days so fingers crossed. So long as it doesn’t last all week as I have a date with my OH on Friday!
Tia – hugs. Sounds like your DS is having a rough time, disgusting how they can ‘forget’ about people
Pigpen – good on yer hubby, that’s my kinda revenge too. For the xmas hamper our Netto have big jars of Quality Street for 3.99 this week so got one of those for a start to mine.

Woke again this morning around 8 and went downstairs to find DD coming back from Tesco where she’d bought doughnuts and chocolate croissants for her breakfast  .
Made it into town for 10am and DS bought himself a plain black jacket in TK Maxx but he said he didn’t mind as he wanted one anyway. Just hope it will do with his black trousers he already had. He also treated himself to a leather jacket, really nice dark brown one at £100. He must be feeling flush knowing that he’s getting the full EMA (had the letter of confirmation this morning) as he then said he wanted to treat me to either a nice coffee in town or lunch tomorrow “so I don’t have to cook”, what a little (ok not so little now he’s 5’11”) treasure, so nice Caf! Nero treat it was as I couldn’t let him pay for a lunch bless him :A
Got a few more bits then the food shop which I managed to keep to a basic one so finances still on track this month. Now going to update those on computer then see what I can do in the house.

    Catch ya all later
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
