Cleaned the rest of the washing line (the bit I don't usually use as its over a flower bed!)
Another load of washing on the line (it's now full, so WM resting until something starts looking dry;) )
Cleaned hob
Cleaned kettle & toaster
Cleared another third of kitchen surfaces and wiped
Off to unload DW, clean filters and probably reload...
Does anyone here use soapnuts? I found some that I've obviously had (unopened) for ages. They've gone a bit sticky, but I used them for the towels and they seem to be OK... any opinions appreciated!0 -
Done some stuff from my list and just eaten a muffin and a scone which I made yesterday for a sort-of lunch. We're eating about 3.30 (clubcard vouchers bella italia) this aft before the opera so don't need too much. Didn't have much luck with the keys- they only had half the ones in stock, tried both shops. Right, have had a sit down and we're leaving at 2 to go into London so I'm going to do the bathroom before we go.

Depressing week. House is a disgusting pigsty (lived off take away this week and dishes have not been done in 4 days (I counted the breakfast bowls)). DS2 has a flamin great big plastic splint to wear at night time, and next month he gets one to wear during the day too! All because he got 'forgotten about' by the OT department and now his fingers are all messed up.
DH away for the weeked too, not done the shopping yet, should get a tesco order in before its too late...
anyway, not posting a list, just what I get done, so far...

Tia - hugs to you and DS2. How awful! I hope you're going to complain about them 'forgetting' him. Don't worry about the house and the takeaways - it's allowed
Hope you feel better soon x

Hi, I am back from my holiday and feel much more relaxed. DD stayed here while we were away and has now moved back in. She has made sure the DSs kept the house clean and tidy. They even did their own washing too so I am very happy with them all.
Tia, huge hugs to your DS and I hope that he begins to improve. How annoying to be forgotten!! I wouldn't worry about the mess as it is not as important as your son and you.
lil_me, Glad to hear you are enjoying your caravan and holidays in it. We had ours from when DD was 8 weeks old until they all got too big for the caravan and then we tried camping for a few years. About 16 fantastic years of caravanning! We used to leave the house for the whole six weeks holiday.
I can't be bothered to do anything, I think I am still in holiday mode.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

It's good... but the neighbours aren't.. they need training in living next door to a psychopath etiquette!Ere Pigpen wotcha neighbours done to upset you then? Want me to come round and HARD STARE them ala Paddington Bear,x
'Specially Pipen for the lists, cheers hun, believe me I have never been complimented before on how clean my house is.......ever.
Congrats on the compliment!!
They were making inappropriate levels of noise at sily o'clock.. so they are all in bed and hubby is out there hammering.. and drilling and being LOUDER than is necessary!how do you all cope with kids not tidying up after themselves, mine are 17, 15 and 7yrs. They don't do a thing unless I nag and nag them. Any tips on getting them to do their bit?
Don't cook them any meals, don't do their washing.. Maybe get a binbag and throw the stuff off their bedroom floors in the bag and put it out by the bin.. or give them a binbag and tell them if they don't fill it with rubbish you'll fill it from their bedroom floor and throw it out! Or have a 'power cut' .. whizz the fuse out for their rooms so they cannot sit on games or tv's..Found a notebook and made a start on my xmas food list seeing as pigpen had the very good idea of buying something for a xmas food hamper on the squeakend list. Will buy a few things a week or whenever I see them on special somewhere. We don't usually eat anymore than normal tbh so not that much extra to buy.
We don't eat more but I like to have a few 'special' things in.. tins of bickies and extra fruit etc.. nibblies.. and extra milk for desserts and ice cream..
Tia... hugs for you and DS.. poor lamb having a splint.. and manflu upon the OT for forgetting him.. poor little man... he'll come through that is one of the most admirable things about little people that always amazes me they are all so resilient!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
