Normally when you check into a hotel you just have to provide a credit card. I am sure you could swing it if you were checking in - let's face it, they wouldn't want a scene, and you could just say it was a gift or someone was ill. I know that lots of celebrities book hotel rooms in aliases, so we could all just pretend we are movie stars LOL. Let's see what happens first eh. I bet there will be a plethora of unwanted bookings, and it would be a shame to see them go to waste.

Nothing for me as yet, I was after the Langham either 15th or 16th Nov. for one night.

My first choice was Amsterdam - 12th and 13th december

Then langham same dates

Then Baglioni same dates

Earlier on this thread, someone said that they had called the two London hotels and asked when they had the promotional rooms, and were told one had rooms from 1-15th Nov and the other from 16-30th Nov. So those of you who asked for December dates are going to be unlucky. I had selected 2 lots of dates in November and December for both London hotels, so I guess my lucky stars were shining...

That was me. Langham 16-30th and the other one from 1-15. Agent_C what was ur res number. I'm in the middle 500's and not heard anything. To be honest I really think all those who were lucky will have been contacted by now.

Not heard anyone mention Venice or Stockholm hotels yet (and I think I've read ALL the posts) - did anyone go for them? I asked 2 Venice and the Stockholm hotel to confirm what dates they were doing but only heard back from Luna Baglioni - 1st-15th Dec.

Very happy for those that have aleardy got their emails - my faith in LHW is restored!!

I agree with above two posts by reading this thread, the German and American ones etc it looks like those who are lucky have been contacted. I also think although I was quick its because I chose the London hotels in Dec which was the date I am going to London anyway. Long shot but it is of course always worth a bash! I´m going to go for the Times 241 offer instead I think unless anyone knows of any more good London hotel offers? Well done everyone, good fun all the same hey! Best get onto looking after my own guests in resort today - far too distracted yesterday!
