Well I registered and just bougt some shares.

Damo once you register, they give you an account number. at the top of the page their is a tab to activate your account where you enter your account ID and it lets you create a user name/ password. thats it.


Thankyou to those that helped me out, just one question in regards to their online account when you buy international shares.

I wanted to buy some Morgan Stanleys shares but could not gety a price on them but could when I rang them up. why is that and can someone explaine to me what the below pic means.

This is when i tried to search formorgan stanly but it brought all these up: I just wanted the one in the news (MS). help?

I signed up and got a money laundering act thing with it so got no account number that I know of...howcome you didn't get that.

no idea, did you sign up for the right account? The online trading one?

It took me 5 mins to get online. i would ring them tomorrow.

I got this at the bottom of the application form:

Id ring them up mate as It asked me the same thing but then it gave me my account number when i clicked next.

What type of account did you go for?

I opened a CFD account with HB & have been very impressed with the service from them.

On Friday evenings I drink with some of the chaps from Selftrade. They are a top class bunch of fellows, so you should deal with them. Generous lot too. They also run a pretty good soccer team.
