wood/laminate flooring for lounge

I'm looking for quotes to buy and fit either wood or laminate flooring in our lounge. We only plan to stay in our house for another year or two, so don't want to spend a great deal - hence why I'm considering laminate despite much preferring wood. We're hopeless at diy so don't want to fit it ourselves. We might also have it in the kitchen if it will look ok.
Any recommendations of companies either national or in the North West? Not really sure where to start looking!

thanks everyone - did you fit it yourselves? Bit worried about doing that as not sure we can do it!

I've fitted engineered wood plank, the click fit type. I had a jigsaw and a workmate, and managed it reasonably easily, by taking my time, and double measuring etc.
The only bit I couldn't do myself was mitre the 5" solid oak skirting. If you are having beading around existing skirt it would be entirely do-able by yourself.Debbie0
