I am fed up with the amount of spam i'm receiving in my inbox, i currently use thunderbird but would like a instant spam filter without the need to train it, any recommendations?

Hi not quite a spam filter but mailwasher can allow you to view the mail on the server and delete and/or bounce it back to the sender, early freeware versions (1.33) allows multiple email accounts to be set up, the current one allows only one email account on the free version. If you google mailwasher 1.33 you might find it still available for download on some servers, other than that try www.mailwasher.com
Many people will probably flame me for saying bounce them back that as some people believe it is not the way to go about it.
The only sure way to stop spam is to change your email address, once it is out there and they get hold of it they never leave you alone.Signature No Longer acceptable -
