anybody??
Hi, our mortgage is in my husbands name, just wondering if anyone knows if they can put a order on our house for a loan in my name only? Have a big loan with lloyds and am waiting for them to take me to court as i haven't been able to keep up with repayments and i know from past experience they try and make it a secure loan attatched to the mortgage....would they still do this do you think?

ermm...i think so ? I asked for my name to be put on the mortgage when we first got it but they said there was no need with me being married?

its unusual for a name to be on the deeds and not on the mortgage
they can't apply for a charge on the house unless you are part owner (i.e. your name is on the deeds)0 -
Thank you for replying clapton.....feel a bit more hopeful now :j0
