Does the email template use html? i.e. is it all just text or is there text, formatting, pictures etc?
If you're using HTML, you could have an image button by using:
<a href="http://www.webaddress.com">
<img src="http://www.image.com/image.gif" alt="Go to my website!">
</a>
There the webaddress.com is the website you want to direct to, and image.com/image.gif is the address of a small gif or jpeg image that you have hosted and will be what the clickable button looks like. the alt= text can be whatever you want, and will appear if the user hovers the mouse pointer over the image.
Not everyone will accept HTML emails, quite a lot of people stick to plain text. Couldn't you just add the web address to the text of the template?Russia is HERE0 -
I would second just add the web address, would you click on a button in an e-mail?
I certainly would not, and I doubt many sensible folk wouldEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I would have to agree!0

ok, what about shrinking the link for it to become www.websitename?.com0

It might be better to make a signature for the site and use HTML in your email program. Then place the signature at the bottom.
The signature can be pretty much anything you like. In my personal emails my signature is a link to my site - I have my logo and below it says "click to visit"
