Dishwashed/fridge freezer 3rd party insurance options (out of warantee items)

I have a dishwasher which i have had for 3 or so years, as well as a fridge freezer. They are expensive items to me and i couldnt afford the cost if they ever was to break.
Is there a 3rd party insurance for say x amount a month perhaps???? which any ones knows of i can use to insure the items.
Manufacturers defects need to be covered.
