Hi folks, I would like to learn to knit. I can knit plain as my nanna taught me when i was younger, but apart from that i am totally ignorant. Can any of you nice folks lead me to a site or something that i can learn from. Just want to start off with blankets for the local cat and dog shelter, ( think this will be the easiest to start with and a good cause too). Thanks in advance for any help you can give me, Starry.0

Hi starry,
There's an older thread that should help so I've added your thread to it. If you need any urgent advice the people who post on the current knitters thread will be happy to help.
