in Credit cards
My husband and I are are currently looking at making a few large purchases using our Natwest Charge Card (Its a Mastercard). With everything thats been happening lately we want to make sure that we are protected in the same way that we would be if we were using a credit card (for purchases over £100) as the delivery times are 4-6 months away.
This may be a stupid question but do we have the same kind of protection as if it was a conventional credit card? To us, the only difference between the two is that we have no choice but to pay the full balance off each month but some people we've asked don't agree. We were just going to use our debit card but that doesn't seem right at the moment.

Not unless it is a credit card.
Section 75 of the Consumer credit act does not cover charge cards whereby you are required to pay off in full the bill when you get a statement.0
