Is *THIS* a Store Card?

I am just a little confused as to whether something is a Store Card or not (call me thick but it's confusing!!)

I am refering to the Online Catalogue The Shoe Tailor ( http://www.shoetailor.com/home.jsp ).

It does not literally have a Card as the term Store Card would suggest, but appart from this everything else screams Store Card! (Including the 39% interest rate  ).

Cheers! :D

    Thank you :D

So what IS a store card? (as in what companies do one?)

To clarify I DON'T want one, I am just intrigued as the term came up on my credit card application and I have never really thought about it before.
  • NEXT, M and S, dorothy perkins, principles all have store cards. It's basically a credit card you use in their shop ( although a lot of them can be used anywhere now)

Both. You get the catalogue and six months after you can get a card which lets you buy things in store and they are charged to your directory account

You can but when you apply for an account they open a credit facility for you.
