Does anyone know of a link to discover the cds rating of uk banks and building society's,to know their safety.
On another topic noticed tonight, news that Bradford and Bingley are on the run!
Not desperate but under pressure.

Depending on your view but I fear that B&B will be taken over for peanuts soon, but you can look at Moody's website who are one of the companies that rate financial firms.

This Is Money seems to have this information on a daily basis. I think the cds can be found under the Risk Grade column. For example, here is the Price and Risk Grade History for Bradford & Bingley:
