Options
Daft sort of a question I know but I am sick of clubs that place $hitty Rnb and commercial dance, or pubs that play diddly dee Irish country and western, I am after a club night that play say Sister Sledge/Chic/Duran Duran/Human League. I suppose an 80's type club.. Does such a thing exist over here?

I think the M club was 70's music. We used to go to Paradise lost and *shudders* upstairs at Dempseys :o. Upstairs in the Coach in Banbridge and the Banville used to be good, but then that was a lot closer to the real 80s than now. I met Mr Sleepy in Paradise lost, just shows what you can catch when you go into those grubby places :D

The Empire has something called Glamarama on Fridays. There's definitely 70's music but not sure if they cover the 80's as well.

  • Bar7 always plays 70's 80's 90's on a friday night for sure

Or the Ashburn in Lurgan on a Sunday night is good for the kind of music you want, pity about the people though
