Hi, my daughter's pc which has been part of a network has stopped 'finding' the internet. Although it is showing as connected Firefox won't load. any very basic help advice appreciated.

Through the All Programs menu:
1.Click Start.
2.Point to All Programs.
3.Point to Accessories.
4.Point to System Tools.
5.Click System Restore.
6.Follow the instructions on the wizard.

is there firewall software on the PC , it could have been accidently blocked
something like Nortons or McAfee
is it only Firefox that is not working ?? does Internet Explorer work ??Ex forum ambassador

it is Windows '98, not XP or Vista.
At the moment it is showing as connected at 48.0Mpbs
