Savings For Kids

Hi all,

I am not very knowledgeable about savings/investing. I would appreciate some advise.......... My two kids will soon receive around £650 each. One will be twelve in
November and the other will be 14 next march. The restriction placed on them from there Nan is that they cannot touch the cash until they are 18.
My question is simple.............

What is the best low or no risk way to ensure they get the best rate for their money.

Thanks in Advance

M Fenemer

In savings - not 'investments' which doesn't match the 'no risk' you specify. As they don't have Child Trust funds - have a look at the options here :-

....... if you don't use your ISA allowance - you could always put it in there (has to be in your name) and that manages the criteria of 'not before 18'?
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
