just had a conservatory fitted,it looks nice and founds/dwarf wall are sturdy enough, but we have a problem,as its a victorian shaped the parts of the wall at the front where the wallmoves in,from there and the front the builder obviously didnt angle it properly,so although the conservatyories ok, my window sill will have to be wider there than the rest of the conservatory, anyone got any recommendatinos on what i can do to make it looks ok,and not out of place in some places and ok in others?????

You'll have to post a picture."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

ok 1st to images from window to end of grey area is 200mm so a 220 window sill will be fine, but next 3 pictures the gaps wider as end of grey area isnt flush to window,so if we put a 220 window sill in all way round will have a large gape between sill and window edge, whats the solution???Live in my shoes for a week, then tell me your lifes hard!0

The solution is to have the inner plasterboard aligned with the window frames. Pack out the timber uprights to run parallell then fit a wider sill. That timber framing is not directly against the outer wall is it ?0

fit the 220mm windowboard so the gap is at the window's ie leave the an equal over hang at the bullnose of the windowboard.... now trim the gap you have between the windows and windowboard with 45mm woodgrain trim. I'd do all round the conservatory this should hide it for you.....0

i suggested that to my builder, but he wants to do it the other way.get a 300 sill and cut it diffrent lengths aronud so its flush on both sidesfit the 220mm windowboard so the gap is at the window's ie leave the an equal over hang at the bullnose of the windowboard.... now trim the gap you have between the windows and windowboard with 45mm woodgrain trim.
