hi all,
i have applied and been accepted online for the barlcay card life of balance platinum credit card.i will receive my card in 5 days.
it says you can balance transfer up to 5000 on the website, my question is this a set amount for everyone?
i really need to balance transfer around 4500, so i require the full amount.
is there any chance that when it arrives it may have a much lower credit limit that i can balance transfer?
anyone any experience with this card?

I received one of their other products today and came out with £2350 which is half of what I wanted, but I look at is as half the interest paid thus I am happy.Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Barclaycard only offered us £3000 - Their reason was that they start low and review it after several months - it was not enough for us. So yes i'm afraid they may make you a lower offer - sorry.0
