Can you connect a sink drainage pipe into a soil pipe close to an internal stack ??

The original sink connected to the stack was about 2ft above the floor board level. As it was right beside the stack the pipe was connected along the wall under the sink. I moved my new sink to another wall and did not want to run a drainage pipe run two walls. I ran it down the pedastool under the floor boards, so I need to connect in at this level or below
There's not much room to fit a boss on the stack below the soil pipe as it is boxed in so hence the question.

All ideas welcomed

thanks plumb1 already have the boss strap & seal, can I connect into the soil pipe as there is no room on the stack
