Safe to Switch to British Gas?
Hi.
I have just discovered that my E-On bill is to rise by another whopping 20% (ish) through their sly removal of the Energy Online Extra Saver Plan.
Switching sites are showing that I can now save a massive 300 quid with BG and 200 with Ebico. Just wondering what your advice might be as I've only been with E-On one year (saved me 250 quid at the time) but they've become a joke. I'm concerned about BG's reputation for poor customer service and hiking/high prices.
Mandy
PS. Uswitch wine offer link appears to be down.

Dont take anyones word that it is going to save you money
get out a calculator and work it out for yourself
To be fair British Gas have improved a lot in the last year or so but they would properly admit they still have some work to do0 -
Thanks, but it will be cheaper as all 4 unit prices are lower (high low gas elec), as are the threshold bands.
