HELP- Make-up stain on my cream carpet

Hi,
I have spilled green eyeshadow on my cream carpet and have no idea how to get it out.
I can't really afford to hire any steam cleaners or professionals (and don't have a car so I couldn't really do it from a practical perspective either!!).
I was wondering whether anyone has any tips for getting this kind of stuff off carpets without the need for steamers/ professionals?
Any help will be very greatly appreciated.

Have you tried 1001? my sister uses it on everything and it seems to work welll!!!
I think the tip is to not rub in but dab0 -
Would eye makeup remover work?
Then you could use a standard on the spot carpet cleaner to remove the make up remover.
If you see what I mean.
Definitely agree about not rubbing, only dabbing with a clean non fluffy cloth like a tea towel. Don't use toilet tissue. I speak from bitter experience."carpe that diem"0 -
It's powder, so get the vacuum out

with makeup spills, always shake or vacuum powder, never scrub it
if it's too late, try vanish mousse or something like thatIf my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0 -
Have you tried shaving foam? I know it sounds weird however I have a tips book and this is what they suggested and I have tried it and oddly it worked!
Shaving foam will also stop your mirrors steaming up in the bathroom if you wipe them with it.0 -
I tried vanish mousse on my cream carpets, where i split a drink. It has left a large grey coloured mark on my carpet!!0
