i am being hounded by Iqor . my OR inform them this week that i was BR and as such they should not contact me but hey they don;t care these bunch of moron, they are ringing me up every hour and i am not joking here ! i have technically one phone call every hour or so i don;t answer theyre security question the only thing i said is am i bovered ? lol .
but hey the nuber of phoen call from them is from 8 am to 9 pm unbelievable i do not knwo what to do they do not care about my BR as they think that Halifax sent our file on the 16 september 2009 then it doens'tmatter i was declared Br in July and my OH in august .....

Cannot condone this behaviour....
but
You could try swearing. Loudly and with gusto. Lots of expletives. You could sing a swearing chant. Then hang up. It can allegedly get you on the "blacklist" and can prevent calls.
Or, at the start of each call, ask them for their name and company. Then tell them "Thanks for the confirmation. The time is 10.42am (whatever) and this call has been recorded for proof of my harassment complaint as I am bankrupt xxx of 2008". Then hang up. And continue to do so. Do not engage in any other conversation with them. You need to feel more empowering in dealing with these people. They know its winding you up and they think you are about to crack.
Or change your phone number? Or just wait it out. The calls will stop eventually.0 -

Seriously this isn't on, you can report them to OFT and to OfCOM, and Trading Standards. do you have a fax number for them? Fax them this letter, and add a bit about them being fully aware that you are bankrupt.

I am of the view that your continued harassment of me by telephone puts you in breach of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
If you continue to harass me by telephone, you will also be in breach of the Communications Act (2003) s.127 and I will report you to OFCOM, Trading Standards and The Office of Fair Trading, meaning that you will be liable to a substantial fine.
Be advised that any further telephone calls from your company will be recorded. (**Even if you don‘t yet have recording equipment!!**)

In not ceasing collection activity whilst investigating a reasonably queried or disputed debt you are using deceptive/and or unfair methods.
Furthermore, ignoring and/or disregarding claims that debts have been settled or are disputed and continuing to make unjustified demands for payment amounts to physical/psychological harassment.
In addition, your continued telephone calls are in breach of the Office of Fair Trading guidelines. If you continue with them after the receipt of this letter an official complaint, together with a log recording the times and frequency of the calls will be passed both to that office and to the Trading Standards office.
This type of debt collection method is contrary to the ‘Administration of Justice Act 1970’ in that it is intended to cause alarm and distress to the recipient. Your methods will not be tolerated. A formal complaint will be submitted to the relevant authorities. This will be relevant to questions of your fitness to hold a licence under the Consumer Credit Act, whether or not it results in a prosecution.
Take further note that continued telephone calls after the receipt of a request not to call may constitute a criminal offence under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003.

i called consuemr direct this morning but in the meantime i am havings such phone with them to date they have talk to napoleon bonaparte, a nurse , a !!!!!! star et .... ..... now i am just waitign my other phone call from this lovely woman ......BSC number 1830 -

Seriously though DCA,s dont read most if not all of what is sent to them, they think they are bullet proof as the OFT and all the other organisations never seem to act on any complaint

Iqor bullied me with calls too and you know something even though my BR is over with I am going to write a letter to complain about my experiance with this [EMAIL="bl@dy"]bl$$dy[/EMAIL] company. These where the ones who had me almost suicidal, my other creditors were very helpful but this companies belittling, snearing attitude could send people over the edge.0

Maybe if this company do this to so many people all people on here with complaints should write to OFT on the same day. Surely they cannot igore this going on, as you say Caz they can send people over the edge.
When they phone, tell them YOU are not in, ie pretend to be someone else, when asked when YOU will be at home say in a month you have left the country to get away from harrassment calls, which have been reported to OFT. then put the phone down.
