Try reading the actual post. At no point did they say the kids weren't grateful for it.

She did actually say the kids were not grateful. She said none of them wanted it, the nine year old was not pleased and the father upset his mum over it. I think they should be grateful, whatever the gift, and not pull a face..
However, if the parents don't agree with it, then that's what they can say to the grandma isn't it, that they don't agree with it?
