Questions Regarding USB Satellite Cards.

Options
Hello everyone.
I considering buying one of these cards as a project (I'm bored :rotfl: ) and was wondering I already have Sky HD so could I just use a splitter and splice into one of the coax cables to take a feed to the card, will I be able to receive the free to air HD channels (i.e. already got BBC HD on Sky HD but would like to get ITV HD through the card too) without moving the dish and finally my laptop has an HDMI output so could I send a HD quality picture that I will hopefully receive from ITV HD to my telly ok (already knowing that these cards should go up to 1080i)?
Hope that all makes sense.
Many thanks in advance.
Pete.

No - been there, tried it - it doesn't work! The receiver "drives" the LNB - you need a dual LNB and separate cabling.

I've got a quad LNB so I'll just have to run a 3rd cable.
