Ticketmaster have weekly deals during quieter periods. I signed up for their weekly email and have had some good deals. These are often only available for a 72 hour booking period and you have to put an offer code in the box when booking. Current deals are found here.

https://www.lastminute.com always a bargain to be had on there. Especially mid week. or go to https://www.theatremonkey.co.uk theres a link on the left hand side that pulls all the latest theatre offers from all the sources and lists them by show.
Obv depends which show you want to see though, the popular ones like hairspray and jersey boys hardly ever have offers!0 -
have you tried www.theatreticketsdirect.co.uk, just got some Joseph tickets from them, are really good.
went to see it last saturday and got some stalls seats for 32.50 when everyone else was over 60 quid for weekend tickets.
was checking their website today and saw some other great offers on their site as well, try them i think they are very good0 -

I am struggling too for tickets. My requirements are 12 tickets for Dirty Dancing/Thriller-live/Mama Mia on Sat 30th May for the matinee performance but seems to be all booked out so far - strange when so far ahead.0

I think that's the Whitsun holidays, so children will be off school.0 -
Also have a look at the discussion page for www.whatsonstage.com as they have a sub board for people getting rid of bona fide tickets they can no longer use.Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0

Well I used http://www.keithprowse.com/uk/ for stalls matinee tickets at around £49 ea compared with several other sites £65 before fiddle fees started to be slapped on. The only security check I did was google it and it has a very high Pagerank. So here's hoping...0
