hey guys i have a satisfied ccj for 2005 i have just got my first credit card at the age of 27 but im fed up with a basic account with lloyds (secondry bank hsbc are my first and happy with them) the thing is i like to keep my bills payed in and out of a seperate account but i hate lloyds and i have had dealings with halifax before and left them so that rules out hsbc,- lloyds and halifax (altho there kinda one bank now)
anyone know a bank that will give you a full current account with a satisfied ccj??

Citibank may. They go through phases of lowering their credit scores. They offer a full Visa Debit card (2in1 or 3in1) and £500 interest free OD if you pay in your salary.0

As the CCJ will still show on your credit files this might well restrict your choice - many may offer you a basic account - a lot now do have debit cards but you may be restricted to their own ATM's or Post office for cash withdrawals0

Try A&L - i have an unsatisfied CCJ and multiple defaults and they gave me a Premier account with Visa Debit no problem.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Really? I've just opened a basic account with Lloyds TSB, having 2 unsatisfied CCJs and a couple of defaults. Having read your post, i've just gone to their online application form because i would far prefer a proper current account, but pretty much the first thing it says is that it isn't suitable for people with CCJs. Is this something that they can choose to ignore then, or is this a recent rule they've just imposed?
