My M&S voucher arrived on Friday, and I made an etsy sale which got me £5 after fees so I've added them to my total :).

I say withdraw it sharpish BB! You've met the t&cs for the cashback by playing through the money - my cashback tracked the next day I think. Nice one!
I did both the scratchcards today on Littlewoods and won 30p - every little helps! Got some bargains at the car boot too, might sell a couple on...
Well done on the totals everyone - Nyk if you get a min could you tot up a collective total for us please?

    Hiya guys

Just been listing things online so I have a few things actually closing before the end of next week. Chances of me breaking even next week are very poor lol, but am looking at the next 20 days as a block, and going to have a bit of a slow down this week and the holidays have ended and I am back to work again and it will take me a week to adjust lol...

Good afternoon everyone, hope the sun is shining wherever you are! (It's put in a rare appearance here today.)

I have updated post one as best I can but if anyone's name is missing off the 'practicing for next year' section then please let me know. 20 day totals can either be posted here in blue or else PM me so I can get the original post up to date. I only have 15 totals out of a possible 46, so far.

To date, the running total is standing at £3,062.08 in 20 days from 14 names so far, so that's not a bad average. If we can all keep this up then the averages should balance out over the full 100 days.
On the 'practicing list', Trex is powering ahead with well over £500 in a fortnight! WOW!

At 18 minutes past midnight, a payment of £1.99 arrived in my account for a buy it now on eBid. Sadly, 27p of this was deducted instantly in PayPal charges and another 47p for postage (42p for a 2nd class stamp and 5p for a large envelope), but I have now added the extra £1.25 to my total and am happy to have made a small sale overnight. I'm now up to £1.20 on the daily scratchcards, am expecting my Ciao payment soon and am still decluttering, helped along by the impending housemove.
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

  • Thanks Nyk for the mention but TBH it's thanks to you for starting this challenge it has really pushed me to find new ways to make that bit extra and also be so much more careful with the money we do have. I thought I was frugal before but I was SUCH an amateur! You guys are an inspiration;). I've had a few biggies in the past 2 weeks so it'll prob slow down a bit now but fingers crossed we can all hit the target. The collective score so far is very impressive
