Evening everyone, I know it isn't much but I got another lightspeed survey today so that's another £1 to the total. My consumer pulse voucher didn't arrive today but I'm hoping it will come tomorrow.
I've just been booted out of yet another global test market survey but I'm up to 900 points so I only need to be kicked out of another 20 to get a cheque lol. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -

This sounds like where I need to be! I was thinking of the most useful way I could spend the end of my year and I've decided that this is the way forward.
However, would I be mad to suggest that I try for £5000 in 100 days? I'm sure it can be done and will damn sure give it a really good go!
Bearing in mind the "extreme" nature of my debt issues, I think extreme action is the most appropriate way forwards.
OK then, so who will support me in my £5000 in 100 days challenge - by 31 Dec 2008, I will have earned an extra £5000 on top of my remuneration for my job!

Hi Idiot_spender, welcome to MSE
It's really easy to start your challenge on here. If you click this link it will take you to the main debt free wannabe section and on the left hand side of the page about 10cm down it says 'Start Thread' or similar. Just click that and the box will pop up for you to get it started. Whatever you type in the title bar is what will show at the top of the thread in the main index list, so you could type in '£5000 in 100 days' and then everyone can join in by taking part in that thread. Except for one thing - there aren't 100 days left until 31st December so don't forget to alter your finishing date
GOOD LUCK! £5000 is way beyond me - I'm struggling to get off the mark at £1000
Jumble-bee well done on Amazon, I still can't fathom out how it works. What if it costs more than £2.75, or whatever it states, to post out the book?
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

you have to pay the postage if it works out dearer that what amazon say you still have to pay and send it! they are spot on with the price of sending a lot of thinks like dvd cd games but books are harder to guess!!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart
Proven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

i guess if you have a heavy book you could weigh it beforehand and work out the postage and then decide if its worth putting in on amazon or not?
or sell light books & make a profit on the £2.75 to make up for it!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

YES, definitely mad:rotfl: But good luck to you. There's no way I could manage £5000... I think I'll have trouble reaching £100 but never mind!
