  • Hi everyone.

I made it! I've added a valued opinions voucher and my Xmas money, and my total is £1173.90.

    I've actually completed a challenge - I don't believe it :j :j :j .

Fair enough, I did have some backpay and Xmas money, which won't be happening again, but Nyk - please count me in for the next challenge. My computer's died and I'm limited to an hour a day at the library at the moment, so don't know exactly how I'm going to make the next £1000.

    Well done to everyone.

    Happy new year.

WELL DONE POLLY! And well done everyone who took part in this challenge, which was a kind of practice run for 2009, so I'd best get the new challenge thread done soon! As you'll see by my signature, I didn't make it. :o But over the year, I made just under £2000, so I do have a figure to beat in 2009. Cheers to all who took part this year, I hope to see you all here [STRIKE]next year[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]next week[/STRIKE] tomorrow! :rotfl:

The next challenge will begin 1st January 2009 (day 1) with day 100 being Good Friday on 10th April 2009. It's the exact same as this challenge - an attempt to earn, raise or save an extra £1000 over the space of 100 days. It is similar to the £10 per day challenge, so some people do both. This one, however, isn't about making extra money every single day.

Anything that is not part of your normal source of regular income counts.

The small print - If in doubt about tax, national insurance, how it affects your contract of employment or any benefits you may be receiving, do check with the relevant agencies.

I made a over the target. The amount in my signature is my second thousand..I've found it really helpful keeping the total.
While I'd love to join next year, I don't think I can manage it..well certainly not the first one. I really want to pay off my loan this year and overpay on the mortgage, so all extra cash is being thrown at that!

Hi Frankie, the challenge isn't about keeping what you make in one place, it's just about how you make the extra to do whatever you do with it, so don't leave us, we need all the inspiration we can get :)

And LOOK! I HAVE STARTED THE NEW THREAD HERE :j
