    You could ask your mortgage supplier if they would like to waive the penalty, given they may just love real cash at the moment & not toxic US mortgage bonds

    I agree 1st priority get rid of your biggest debt the mortgage, we paid ours off 2 yrs ago and its fantastic now having that weight around your neck taken away
