After have two cancellations as I mentioned above, I emailed Currys who still won't take any blame for any error. They still insist it's down to me entering wrong details and as it's sold out, they don't want to know. First bad experience I've had with Currys.

Can anyone tell me what the 'platinum' refers to on some of the psone games? Can these games only be used with certain psone hardware?

Platinum is the budget version of the game.
Once a game has done the rounds at full price it just moves onto the lower priced platinum label.
They work on all Playstations.

Has anyone heard anything from Great Universal?

I have phoned them three times now.

First time they said it came with games,

second time they didnt know

Third time they said a manager would phone me back and he didnt.

I am worried that it is only the games and all I got from them was

'well if is says consolae and games, thats what it will be'

So helpful eh

As far as I am concerned I have paid for the game console
and 3 games included.
If I dont receive it as described then I will have to take it further!!
Dont know what I am going to do yet !!

I got through to them yesterday quite easily.
First of all she confirmed that yes it was a console and 3 games then when I asked how many controllers she went to look .
She then came back to say that within the last 2 days a note had been added to say that it was NOT a console and 3 games it was the 3 games only and the cost would be £15.99. I was unsure where I stood on the issue so I didn't make a big deal of it.
Anyone got any ideas where we stand as I am sure like me others have a confirmation email with the fact that it is a Console and 3 games.
Bought the Spyro starter pack on ebay for £30 including postage just to make sure I get one.

I had my system delivered yesterday by Dixons. 2 Analogue feedback controllers, a memory card and a game for £15. It's an absolute steal.

In addition Game are selling preowned games 5 for £10. Perfect.

My wife says this site should be called costalot.com as I'm addicted!
