I have Acrobat reader installed on my pc along with Adobe Photoshop Elements.
The problem I have is whenever I try to open a PDF document, Photoshop opens instead of Acrobat reader. I am having to save every Pdf document at the moment to My Documents and only then it would seem can I open the document by right clicking and then choosing Acrobat Reader.
Is there any waycan make Acrobat Reader the default programme for opening pdf attachments please.

Right click "Open with" on a pdf file in Explorer.
Better still download and install Foxit reader here - much better. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Right click any PDF file and select Properties.
Then in the General tab, you'll see "Opens with Photoshop" plus a "Change" button.
Click the Change button and set it to open with Adobe Reader rather than Photoshop.
You can also do the same from any file Window, Tools > Folder Option File Types. Scroll down to find PDF and change the application which it is associated with.0 -
If you're using Vista, click on the Start 'orb', select 'Default programs', 'Associate a file type', scroll down to .pdf, select 'Change program', select 'Acrobat'.
If Acrobat isn't displayed use browse to go to where it is installed.Charlie0
