Selling standard life shares problem, help please !

My of-the-cuff answer (which may be completely wrong) is to sell the shares - get a cheque in her maiden name - and THEN look into how to get the cheque paid in.
Perhaps her bank will accept it if she can then produce your marriage certificate. If not, you may need to get the cheque re-issued, but at least she will have sold the shares and be entitled to the proceeds.".....where it is corrupt, purge it....."0
