  • Well, I went into town today...wandered about aimlessy as you do...hee hee. :D Picked up the dry cleaned duvet - £19.05...good grief.... it's only some feathers in a big sack for goodness sake.... hee hee. Then I bought a lottery ticket for Saturday. Needed some milk and then went to the coffee shop. Total spent today £22.62.

My total spend today is Zero. Payday tomorrow so i've got no money to spend anyway :-)
  • Chimp Choker has an (unintended) point - perhaps we should have a National Debt-Free Day and those achieving it should celebrate with a communal one-minute swivelling finger at all those companies seducing us into debt with all their means at their disposal!

(No offence intended for Armistice Day/Sunday - I lost an uncle and my father in two World Wars).

Spent £6.96 on some extra food bits to make sure we don't run out.
  • Thank you Magenta Sue. Something else to play with now i'm being careful with the money. My 140k debt includes mortgage for 97k.

Talking of what i spent today, I actually went through the cupboard to see what was in it. I was amazed at what i'd bought and thought ...hmmm that will go with this and that and by the time I got home the tea went out of the window. This cubpboard seemed to take everything in and give nothing out but i cooked a dinner for 3 for 64 pence and that was for a bulb of garlic off the market......

looks like I don't have m/s money on my office 2000 disc.......
  • Spent £0 today and £350 yesterday on court costs for my bankruptcy :(
There are many paths to tread to find true financial enlightenment, some of them are clear of obstacles, others have huge piles of doggie DooDoo in them in which one can easily tread. The journey is not made easier by the fact that the financial institutions blind fold us before we set out on our route.
