But how do I get it to the first thing on my playlist? Would it automaticly start there if it's on 'non shuffle mode' when I have first turned it on? Sorry, I've only ever really used it on shuffle :)

Erm ..... I think if you look at your playlist on iTunes when your shuffle is connected to your computer you can see the order your songs would play in if you have your 'shuffle' random switch set to 'play one after the other' (arrows following each other in a circle rather than arrows crossing).

So if you drag the Ullreys' podcast to the top of the playlist on your shuffle on the computer then it should be the first thing that plays when you press the ' |<< ' (rewind) key to take you back to the beginning.

Confused? I know I am. Then my work here is complete :o:D

Managed to get the podcasts on my ipod so that's a good start :p going my first jog tonight, probably in the rain.

  • Morning!

    Okay... yesterday I managed to:
Do Divina's workout DVD in my living room. :T
    Not smoke
    Not drink

I ate very well too. I had:
Bran and an apple for breakfast
Tuna Salad followed by a banana for lunch
Lots of green tea throughout the day.
Roasted chicken breast with roasted butternut squash and sweet potatoes.

Last night was tough. I was in tears for most of the night. But to be honest, I think my emotions are worse at the moment because I have AF on the way (or at least I hope it is!).

I really wanted a cuddle last night. One of the girls from MSE was online and talked to me for a bit which helped. :o

Planning on going for a swim tonight (only a quick one) and going home and blitzing the flat...
I also have to go food shopping which should be interesting... think I'll write me a healthy shopping list...

    Bring on day 2!

Jogging in the rain is good - it keeps you cool and not many people will be out to watch you :p:D. Wear layers because you will eventually warm up (honest ). Good Luck and tell us how it goes. Remember the longest you'll run for is 60 seconds. It helped me to count my steps in the first 60 seconds so that in the next 60 seconds I knew roughly how long it was to go before the next rest. Phew!

    Wow! Get you :T :j:T

All that healthy eating and exercise and you'll be Little Pickle 2.0 in no time. :D

What's Davina's workout like. I tried an aerobics class ( or earobics as I just typed :o) for the first time in years last Friday and I really enjoyed it. I still need to shift weight and the running can get a bit samey after a while. If I go this Friday I'll try to fit a swim in afterwards (it's all held at the local council gym/pool). The problem is that a class and a swim is about £10 plus petrol to get there - not very MSE. If Davina is any good I might get her DVD instead.

:rotfl: I had to run for the bus today and that just about killed me, oh dear.

Have you ever tried a yoga DVD? I used one before and it was really good, nothing too strenious and I did feel pretty good afterwards. Another good one I used was a Tai Bo work out, felt like an idiot doing that in front of people though :p

Yes, but that was emergency running - not properly warmed up, sports bra clad, banana an hour beforehand, on purpose running :p;):D

I'm not very bendy (lower back issues) so I've never tried yoga. I did do a pilates class for a bit to unknot my back, which was great. Then they asked me to lie on the floor and just throw my legs over the back of my head and touch the floor with my toes. Erm......OK then. :o

Strangely, I never went back.

Banana? Sports bra? Hmm I may have to invest in some bananas...

Oh forget that stuff, do a nice easy beginners one :)
