Hi
It's a full operating system. Effectively the code is the same but the interface is different - it can autrun DVD's and MP3's and so on.
It's for use in Home Theater PC's - the ones you plug into your HIFI and tele.
Unless thats what you are after, stick with XP Pro (if it has to be microsoft)

Windows MCE (2005) is effectively XP Pro but with added Media functionality, and it doesn't have the ability to logon to a domain (ie business related). (as a rough overview)"Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
