Hi,

I was wondering if there were other students doing similar courses who could help me locate the following books.

The books are:

471368156 System analysis and Design Alan Dennis

095417111X PC Support Handbook David !!!!!!
Thanks in advance
Sara

Hi, the best place to get cheap textbooks I found is at the uni you're in. I'm in Manchester and found (and have used it myself) that students who no longer use the books put notices up on any student notice board or in the student union. This is far cheaper than buying them new, plus you can sometimes find the previous owners notes in the margin helpful!!
Also try looking on amazon market place, you type in the name of the book, but when amazon's listing comes up it also sometimes offers you listings in the market place under used section, you'l see what I mean. These can be a fair amount cheaper than amazon. If all else fails use the library\!! One of the biggest mistakes I made when I started my degree was etting allthe reccomended books for the courses I was taking, spent a hefty amount of money and I think at the end of my first year I had only used 2 or 3 of them!
plenty of options tho, if i was you, use the library and if you really really want your own copy look on student notice boards in your department! or you could ask lecturers if they know of any second hand book stores that may sell them. Good luck with your studies tho!Money burns a hole in my pocket, but I'm trying to be good!!:grouphug: :A

You should also try locating them on Abebooks. www.abebooks.co.uk
Not only do they have cheap books but also rare and hard-to-find ones. And there are lots of individual providers so you might locate some in your area and save on postage.0 -
E-bay is really good for cheap books. They're not always in the best condition but you don't really need brand new books to study from.0
