Comparison Site Quotes

Having just done 2 different comparison site searches, I was surprised to see how different the quotes were for exactly the same details - is this normal?
For example, with exactly the same details entered, the price for BG's Click Energy 5 tarif was 1,163 with 'energyhelpline' search engine, but came in at only 865.50 with 'moneysupermarket' search engine - the payment methods were the same on each site, and the total spend per month was entered the same on each site.
I know the BG rates are due to be increased soon, but to have a 300.00 difference on 2 different sites seems bizarre - I noticed a similar trend across the other suppliers and tarif's as well.

To start with you should enter annual kWh figures, not your current monthly spend. Use the sites to get a league table of supplier prices and then do your own sums.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
