Can I sell breastmilk???

Do you reckon I could sell my breastmilk to a posh mum who wanted her baby to have the health benefits of breastmilk but couldn't be bothered to do it herself???

    You'd be better donating it to a milk bank at a neo natal unit for premature babies who really really need it. icon7.gif

    as far as i can find out there is no law against being paid to wet nurse, which in essence what you would be doing.... just make sure you have nothing to pass on through your milk.. that could be disastrous (btw, i'm not saying you have.. but if you get checked anyway, you cover your donkey...)

    I've done that before, but now live further away from the hospital. Am also now very broke.

    Yeah, thanks, no offence! I've had two HIV tests, both times for when I was donating breastmilk -- tried to explain that I'd been too busy looking after babies to get up to any funny business in between the first and second babies, but they wanted the test anyway -- it's a fair cop!

    I was actually mainly joking when I started the thread, but having googled it it seems that lots of people actually do this! And in fact, not all the buyers are going to be feeding it to babies... :eek:
