Strawberry plants

Should be fine, I find strawberry plants to be quite hardy. Could just plant them where you want them to be in the garden and they would be ok. Dont panic if they die down in winter, they come back in spring. Good luck. :j0

They're very hardy. We had strawberry plants in the front garden when we moved here two years ago.We were told they were there when the former residents arrived 7 years earlier. So yes they are ok left outside over winter.0

i have inherited a 5yr old pot of strawberries myself but watch out for the daughter plants you can end up with loads! I bought a pack of 6 plants from Aldi in May and i have potted on 26 daughter plants from these to add to the ones off the old plants i inherited!
remember they are best grown in Scotland so they can take a winter and a frost! In fact a strawberry farmer here told me that they actually produce better fruit after a frosty winter :cool:Every Penny's a prisoner :T0
