HBOS Help - Please

Can someone give me some advice/help please; I have searched through the boards but none of it makes much sense to me.

I have two accounts with Halifax, both with overdrafts that we are at the limit - where do we stand with our accounts and our overdrafts?

I also have my house insurance with Halifax and this is not due for renewal until June 09 - where would I stand with this?

My Dad is a HBOS shareholder, not a major one but has a decent amount: I think approx 1000 - where does he stand with this?

Any help you can offer would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Exactly where you stood before the takeover was announced.

    Same for this

If/when this goes ahead each HBOS shareholder will receive 0.83 LTSB shares for every one HBOS share

Your accounts for now will stay with HBOS as this deal hasnt gone through yet, one of our internal memos from Andy Hornby reads "We expect the deal will be completed by the end of December."

So there wont be any change to your accounts until then. No official word has been given on what will happen at that point (afaik) but if I were you I wouldn't worry :)

Ok - thank you very much - your help is really appreciated.

I have never been involved in any situation like this so have no idea whatsoever how it all works!
