Need memory card reader for 4GB

My card reader works on all cards under 1Gb but not over. I was told that I needed a better card reader to read cards over 1Gb but I can't seem to find one anywhere.
I have a 4GB SDHC card.
Can anyone please help?

I bought a Poundland card reader that works with my SDHC card - the small dark unit. Don't know if the one you take apart to put the card in work0

PC world have them as a pack with a 4GB memory card for about £30.00 if that will help0

amazon for a few quid. I also bought the 91? in one reader from ebay and it lasted 3 readsGOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.
