Viking Direct insurance scam

Hi guys,

Thought i'd give you all a heads up on this. It seems Viking have started charging a 2% "insurance premium" on all orders, which gives you protection against accidental damage and the like. Not only does it apply to anything from paper clips to Selotape (not just printers and the like), but it also isn't in as a "removable" cost. You have to actually call in to have it taken off your invoice. Their argument was it's hidden in their small print in the catalogue.

A bit more details (and a bit more ranting!) on the whole thing is on my blog.

Beleive it or not, Vistaprint got us too, a few months back...
