blinds for a whole house £600

Got about 8 quotes from diff companies for blinds for my whole house (new build). Prices ranged from £520 local dodgy company to £1300 for Hillarys (national company ads in all the glossy mags).
Average was about £800.
Chose one @ £600 because their fabric choice was excellent - more than any other comapny. Plus the Director came to do the quote and was very pleasent, been doing it for years, goes to Italy the buy even more fabrics etc.
So a 4 bedroom house roller blinds on all windows and vertical blinds on patio door and bay window and 3 velux windows total £600 inc VAT and fitting and 5 years warranty.
Sounds like a bargain to me, get as many quotes as you can, but keep a note of what the fabrics are like as they vary widely - you may want to pay a little more to get some good fabrics.
