I had a compliance interview two months ago and still haven't heard any outcome, does this mean there is no further action???

  • It may mean this but they may still be carryinging out the investigation.

Try calling up to find out if that is the end of the investigation or do they need further information from you.

    Don't do that.

Compliance visits are often routinte to check if anything has changed or check information they have received, doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong.

I'm scared of what they may say - I have depression and the interview set me back a long way in my recovery
  • Why not phone them? If you are doing nothing wrong there shouldnt be anything to worry about.

If you have a contact number for the compliance officer you could call and briefy explain your circumstances - the depression - and it makes you worse feeling that you are still inder investigation even though you shouldnt worry.

If you go chat to them, doesn't mean they won't look again & find something else wrong.

If they had found something they will contact you.

What did they do at the visit, were you under investigation or were they asking routine questions regarding your circumstances ?
  • If there is nothing done wrong it shouldnt matter if they look again....

OP, I am not hinting that you are. I just think you may be put at ease if you speak to the compliance officer. But as stated by john539, if they had found any problems they will have most likely contacted you by now or stopped your payments.
  • It was a malicious call to the fraud line

    Thanks for all your advice
  • If it was just a malicious call and you have truly done nothing wrong you need not worry.
