A really great way to prevent a cold sore from developing is taking l-lysine, when you very first feel the cold sore developing.
i take 2 as soon as i feel the signs, and haven't had a cold sore fully develop for years now:p

i popped into boots today and bought the small CK into you, with the £5 off voucher it was just £7.50;)

i have the no17 voucher for the free lippy (with another no17 purchase) and just noticed a really good tip/thread on here from earlier - that you could buy one of the clearance dazzle eyeshadows as your purchase and still get the lippy free. there was loads in my local store last week - bet there's none when i go tomorrow!

what i wanted to ask is.. does anyone know if it's still 3 4 2? so that in actual fact you could get 3 4 1?

Does anybody know what happens with nominated day deliverys please? I nominated tomorrow (30/9) as a delivery for the electrical glitch, as I was out all day today, and it is still showing as order being processed, not dispatched. Also no payment has been taken either, but I haven't received an email saying it's been cancelled. Do you think I will get the order?

I ordered on Wednesday evening and my order is showing as at the depot. My nominated day was 1st October.

I've seen many a coldsore off with toothpaste - make sure it is a nice minty one, you can tell if it is working as it starts to sting a little but you have to get it when it starts, if it is broken out it is usually too late and you'll end up with the full works.

Toothpaste is also fab for reducing spots before they break out/get a head on (yuk!!) I was never too spotty in my teens but I always used toothpaste as soon as a spot appeared and overnight it had pretty much dissappeared.

Mine is just showing as order being processed, and was due for delivery tomorrow so I dont think theres much hope

The 342 offer is still on, but whether you're able to get 341 usually depends on the sales assistant/supervisor, some people have managed it but others have been told "can't be used in conjunction with any other offer" (the 342). The lipstick voucher won't usually scan and this often means a supervisor has to override the till. Also be prepared to be asked where you got the voucher from - I smiled sweetly and replied that Boots sent it to me on email! HTH
