I am so chuffed with my mirror. I can't believe I didn't get one of these before! Oh yes I know why, they were £40!:D :rotfl:

Just a thought. I am planning to give the other 2 as presents. What would happen if the recipient took it back with no receipt because they didn't want it?

They'd get credit for whatever the mirror cost at that time, most likely.

I'm not so sure......I think all stores have been told about this glitch by head office and may refuse a refund without a receipt. I'd be well embarrassed if someone asked me for the receipt and it showed how it cost nothing!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

    Phew, it's so quiet here :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2

I'm thinking of getting two oral b toothbrushes as the vitality are currently half price. Got two of those (dual and sensitive I think) a couple of months back when it was £12.49 (half price from £24.99) and used the 1500 points voucher without a problem. But now my local only has the new packaging one - the one with an extra brush head - for £14.99 (half price from £29.99) atm. Wondering whether it will still work with the PC coupon.

    Thinking of trying
    • vitality dual £14.99
    • vitality sonic £14.99
    • johnsons top to toe (if there's any :rotfl: )*2 so £0.02
Using PC 1500 points, 250 points WYS £30 ATM, £5 elec, and maybe £5 elec TS too

That would be total spend £20 with 1750 points back.

Wondering whether it will work  , has anybody tried please? Really like those oral b brushes, I'm using dual one atm, my teeth never felt so clean :D

Hi there, the points voucher and the £5 off voucher (only had the one kind) worked on the oral b 8000 which is reduced to £24.99 just now, I know it would only mean 1 toothbrush, but it may be more appealing since i got it to work last week? Mind you , it may not work this week for sure, as Im sure you will already know!

If you use the 2 £5 off then you get it for £14.99 and 1750 points back, although im not sure if the total spend voucher would work.

Sorry if this has already been posted. I am just catching up!

    :D

If she gave the gift now, that *might* happen. But I'm assuming these are put away for gifts to be given later, so I'm pretty sure that after Christmas someone would be allowed to exchange the mirror for whatever price it is at that time. People who want to just go in and try to cash in with returns of mirrors now, that's a different story and a bad idea, as Boots getting swamped with returns of mirrors from this glitch will probably cause a crackdown. But I wouldn't worry too much about someone trying to return a gift in a few months. And worse comes to worst, they'll be told no (unlikely), and they'll just have to keep the mirror.

    :D

Thanks Freebieaddict! Strangely enough I tried to scan the Oral b 6000 last week (was £19.99 from £39.99) with points voucher and elec voucher but it didn't work. I thought it's because my total spend was not £30. Glad it worked for you, the 8000 must be very professional :D

Anyhow the professional range promotion is finished I think. Only the vitality range is half price now. Personally I think I like the vitality better anyway. For anybody who didn't know yet, all the non-sonic ones (dual clean, sensitive, precision etc) the brush heads are interchangable, so a bit more flexibility, HTH

Mr B is evil, make it £29.99, just 1p short for a legitimate and stress free buy :(:(:(
